Day 3
Route description
Breakfast and departure by bike to discover the typical products of Valle Trompia. The valley is mainly known for the production of cheese, honey, jams and cold cuts. The production of cheese is distinguished by aged hard cheeses such as "Nostrano Val Trompia", soft cheeses such as "formaggella di Collio" (a typical mountain cheese), and butter.
In summer, in the numerous alpine pastures you can enjoy authentic experiences with the cheese makers! The track we propose is easy and practicable by everyone, starting from the e-bike rental. You can reach, first along an asphalted road then on a dirt road, the alpine pasture of Vaia where you can taste and buy the cheeses produced locally. The location near a small alpine lake, now dedicated to fishing, makes the landscape enchanting. Along the suggested path it is possible to observe the lakes of Ravenola and Dasdana, and if you want, to reach the alpine pastures near them with short detours.
