18 - IDRO / CAVALLINO DELLA FOBBIA

This medium-duration tour satisfies the ones who stay in the surroundings of Lake Idro and those who love challenging and hard inclines.
You’ll start in the village of Idro, riding the Caffaro main road in a southerly direction until Vestone; cross the bridge over Chiese river and start the 8km incline, leading to Treviso Bresciano.
Pay attention to the conditions of the uneven asphalt road.
From Treviso Bresciano, continue until Passo del Cavallino della Fobbia, facing its 5km incline surrounded by a fascinating mountain rural scenery, since Passo del Cavallino della Fobbia is 1100m above sea level.
Once at the peak, take a break in the typical restaurants of the area, before riding back to Idro.
The first segment of the downhill trail is narrow and challenging until Rio Secco, then it becomes fast and amusing in the segment connecting Idro to Capovalle.
