Museo Fucina Zanetti

Description

The museum is located in the town of Casto and it tells the story of the recent history of iron manufacturing in the area. The museum still houses the old hydraulic-driven trip hammer, which in the more recent past powered the shearing machine. The museum contains a vast array of machinery that testifies to the continuous innovative process of iron working in the Valsabbia region, which lasted up until the middle of the 20th Century.
